In this high-acuity, fast-paced environment, you will be on the front line of emergency care, working with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to stabilize and treat patients in critical and often life-threatening situations.


As an ER RN, you will be expected to function with a high level of autonomy and clinical judgment to assess, triage, and provide direct nursing care to patients of all ages presenting with a broad range of emergent conditions. Whether you're treating traumatic injuries, cardiac events, respiratory distress, or pediatric emergencies, your ability to act quickly and effectively will be vital to patient outcomes.

• Deliver direct and effective patient care to individuals experiencing urgent or emergent medical needs.


• Rapidly assess and triage patients to prioritize treatment according to the severity of the condition.


• Administer prescribed medications and emergency treatments by hospital protocol.


• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals during trauma codes and critical care events.


• Monitor vital signs, medical equipment, and clinical indicators to track patient progress and identify deterioration.


• Perform accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, medications, and treatment plans.


• Educate patients and families on discharge instructions, follow-up care, and available community resources.


• Participate actively in departmental meetings, clinical training, and quality improvement initiatives.


• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to infection control and hospital policies.


Candidate requirements

• Completion of a nursing program accredited by a recognized institution
• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required at the time of hire
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association at hire
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association at hire
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association at hire
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience, ideally in emergency or acute care settings
