Banquet Lead

Join the banquet team at Oregon Garden Resort, where you'll help create exceptional experiences for conferences, retreats, holiday parties, celebrations, weddings, and other special events throughout the year. We're looking for someone with banquet or catering experience who enjoys working as part of a team, takes pride in delivering outstanding service, and thrives in a fast-paced event environment. What You'll Do Help coordinate banquet service during conferences, retreats, weddings, and special events. Assist with event setup and breakdown, including tables, chairs, linens, service stations, and room flips. Serve plated meals, buffets, receptions, and beverage service while maintaining high service standards. Provide guidance and support to banquet servers throughout each event.. Work closely with the Banquet Manager, kitchen, and bar teams to help keep events running smoothly and on schedule. Help resolve guest requests and service issues with professionalism. Maintain clean, organized, and guest-ready banquet spaces throughout each event. What We're Looking For Previous banquet, catering, or event service experience required. Lead experience is a plus, but not required. Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude. Someone who leads by example and enjoys helping others succeed. Ability to stay organized and perform well in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on our event schedule. Oregon Food Handler Card required. OLCC Service Permit required or ability to obtain before starting.
