IT Administrator

IT AdministratorThe IT Administrator will be in charge of all hardware deployment, maintenance and ticketing for the Dallas office. Currently utilizing the support team out of their corporate office, this individual will streamline all of the processes for the team based here in Dallas and will operate as a team of one for right now. There is a mix of hardware and server support as well as software, occasionally supporting and assisting in their cloud environment. This individual will be focused on support for the office locally, but reporting to the UK leaders, there may be support needed over there as well, virtually.Key responsibilities include administering and maintaining servers, networks, storage, and cloud environments (on-prem and hybrid); monitoring system performance, uptime, backups, and disaster recovery readiness; managing Active Directory, user authentication, permissions, and group policies; ensuring system scalability to support project mobilization and demobilization activities; providing Tier 2–3 technical support for corporate and field users; supporting laptops, mobile devices, jobsite connectivity, printers, and collaboration tools; troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues with minimal downtime; and coordinating with vendors and managed service providers as required.Qualifications include 1-2 years of experience as a tech support or IT Administrator, experience working with Microsoft and Mac hardware systems, strong troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills, experience with construction, engineering or field-work, intermediate Microsoft Excel skills preferred, excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Perks include opportunity to contribute to company-wide learning and development initiatives, exposure to learning technology, analytics, and system optimization projects, collaborative team environment with cross-functional partnership opportunities, and professional growth and development within a learning-focused organization.
