IT Systems Analyst

:

Responsible for prioritizing user support and requirements, overseeing system upgrades/enhancements and researching new tools and features proprietary Contracts and Rebates (CORE) application. Works with the business owner, cross functional teams, and external partners for system enhancements and reliability.

• Understanding business processes and technology needs - primarily for Contracts and Rebates, CORE, application
• Communicate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and the business process along with compliance
• Designing, analyzing, and implementing efficient IT systems / enhancements
• Develop and analyze functional specifications
• Define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements
• Coordinate with developers to build and implement technology solutions
• Perform quality assurance testing and UAT support
• Gathering feedback from end users to continue improving systems
• Gather feedback from end users about system performance
• Plan and oversee projects (e.g., upgrades, software installations)
• Provide system support and technical training
• Keep abreast of technological trends and developments
• Knowledge of databases, system security and troubleshooting
• Excellent communication skills

BS/BA in Engineering, Computer Science, or comparable experience

• Problem solving and analytical skills, and the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical users.
• Knowledge of SQL highly preferred
• A working knowledge of Distribution/warehouse processes a plus
• Understanding of Rebates structure and GPO pricing in healthcare is a plus
• Must be able to effectively communicate technical information both verbally and in writing, utilizing Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat and other computer programs
• High proficiency in Excel is required
• Knowledge of commonly used business concepts, practices and procedures.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, respond quickly to emergent problems, and to focus both on long-range projects and immediate tasks required to maintain system functionality.
• Experience with JIRA a plus
• Experience working in the healthcare supply distribution industry is preferred.
