Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP)
StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $130000.00 - $160000.00

A respected outpatient VA clinic in Alamogordo is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner to join a highly autonomous, patient-centered primary care team. This is an excellent opportunity for providers who enjoy continuity of care, chronic disease management, and working with a veteran population in a collaborative setting.

Opportunity Highlights

• 100% outpatient primary care
• Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• No nights, weekends, or federal holidays
• Optional 4-day workweek flexibility
• Independent provider role with your own patient panel
• Team-based PACT model with RN, LVN/LPN, MA, and administrative support
• Strong integrated support from mental health and pharmacy teams
• Established VA system with CPRS EMR

Clinical Focus

• Chronic disease management
• Diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia
• Geriatric care
• Patients with multiple comorbidities
• Veteran-centered, continuity-driven care model

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $130,000-$160,000+ (based on experience)
• Potential sign-on bonus and relocation assistance
• 31 days PTO
• $3,500 CME allowance + 5 CME days

Qualifications

• Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification
• Minimum of 2 years outpatient primary care experience
• Strong background in chronic disease management
• Comfortable practicing independently
• Military, VA, or veteran care experience a plus!
