Revenue Accounting Analyst

SHR Talent is partnering with a client in Brentwood, TN in its search for a Revenue Accounting Analyst. The Revenue Accounting Analyst will support the accounting and finance team through a blend of revenue analysis, reconciliations, reporting, and day‑to‑day accounting operations. This Revenue Accounting Analyst will work with large datasets across multiple systems, helping ensure revenue accuracy, identify discrepancies, support reporting initiatives, and contribute to operational accounting processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, accounting knowledge, and experience working with tools such as Excel, SQL, and Power BI in a fast‑paced environment. Responsibilities Perform ongoing reconciliations across multiple revenue streams, payment platforms, and financial systems to ensure accuracy and completeness Analyze revenue activity and financial data to identify discrepancies, trends, margin fluctuations, and reporting variances Pull, organize, and validate data from multiple systems to support accounting operations and financial reporting Build, maintain, and enhance recurring reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for accounting and finance leadership Support month‑end accounting activities related to revenue reconciliations and financial reporting Assist with day‑to‑day accounting operations and provide ad‑hoc support across the accounting and finance team Partner with leadership to provide insights that support operational and financial decision‑making Assist with payroll review processes to ensure accuracy and serve as backup support for payroll‑related activities as needed Support recurring compliance‑related activities including business filings, registrations, documentation, and audit preparation Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and increased reporting efficiency Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 1+ years of experience in accounting, finance, revenue analysis, financial analysis, or a related role Strong understanding of reconciliations, accounting operations, and financial data analysis Advanced Excel skills with experience working with large datasets, formulas, analysis, and reporting Experience using SQL for querying and analyzing data Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence and data visualization tools Ability to work across multiple systems and manage large volumes of financial and operational data Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills High attention to detail with the ability to manage recurring deadlines with minimal oversight Exposure to revenue accounting, month‑end close support, payroll processes, or reporting automation is a plus If you are interested in learning more about this Revenue Accounting Analyst opportunity, we encourage you to apply today. #J-18808-Ljbffr SHR Talent
