My global Investment Banking client is seeking a AVP or VP in their Counterparty Risk team to specialize in the Commodities portfolio, specifically in Energy/Power/Oil & Gas.

• Lead preparations and recommend high-quality credit submissions relating to new business proposals, annual reviews, interim reviews, and transaction approvals for clients primarily operating across the commodities value chain, including energy, base and precious metals, and carbon markets.
\n
• Structure And Analyze a broad range of trading related products, including derivative and financing facilities.
\n
• Lead and support transactions involving physical commodity supply chains, including inventory financing, storage arrangements, leasing structures, and other structured commodity finance solutions.
\n
• Spearhead detailed company, industry, and market analysis, and formulate well-supported credit and borrower risk rating recommendations.
\n
• Collaborate with Commodities Sales & Trading, Credit Risk Management, and other stakeholders to support transaction structuring, business development initiatives, and strategic growth objectives.
\n
• Liaise with internal Legal and Documentation teams to assist in structuring and documenting credit facilities and transaction-related agreements.
\n
• Continuous monitoring of counterparty performance and credit exposures, including compliance with authorized credit limits and terms, conditions, and reporting requirements
\n
• Highlight emerging credit, market, operational, and reputational risks and recommend appropriate mitigating actions.

Salary: Up to $175,00

Total comp: Up to $240,000
