Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Epic)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 36–48 hours per week (3x12s) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for individual patients or an assigned patient group in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff within the Emergency Room setting
• Coordinate patient care with other clinical disciplines to ensure continuity and quality of care
• Apply critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in all aspects of patient care delivery
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly within Epic and other required electronic medical record systems

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Current AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification
• Current AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification
• Recent Epic experience within the last 12 months (each work history entry must identify the charting system used, including date ranges if multiple EMR systems were used within a single position)
• Cerner experience within the last 5 years

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Acute care facility experience
