Registered Nurse - Oncology

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients in a fast-paced, technologically advanced treatment center. Utilize your radiation oncology experience to deliver personalized care within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation treatments and coordinate patient care plans based on individual diagnoses.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless patient management and record keeping.
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and manage side effects, escalating concerns as needed.
• Educate patients and families on treatment procedures, side effects, and follow-up care.
• Maintain compliance with all safety and procedural protocols, including current licensure and certification standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Colorado RN license in good standing.
• Possess BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of Radiation Oncology nursing experience.
• Exhibit strong organizational skills and adaptability to a demanding clinical environment.
• Communicate proficiently in written and verbal English, with the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
