Temp Accounts Payable Assistant- Bridgewater, NJ

Our client, a fashion brand, is seeking a Accounts Payable Assistant to join the team on a temporary basis! Responsibilities Review invoices processed by Accounts Payable Associates to ensure accuracy, policy compliance, and proper documentation Research, prepare, and input a high volume of invoices into SAP with strong attention to detail Process legal-related invoices, including invoices in foreign currencies Complete assigned invoice uploads using SAP upload templates and verify accuracy of submissions Support processing of retail fixed asset invoices Process Ariba manual purchase order (PO) and non-PO requests Serve as a point of contact for internal business partners and external vendors regarding invoice inquiries submitted through Ariba Verify new vendor setup requests and vendor account changes to ensure compliance and accuracy Assist with check handling, including special mailing requests and stop payment processing Research invoice discrepancies, reconcile vendor statements, and resolve outstanding issues in a timely manner Assist in resolving items related to monthly debit balance reporting Manage Accounts Payable mailbox inquiries and respond promptly to email and phone requests Provide support on additional Accounts Payable projects and assignments as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. Minimum 2–3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience; retail experience a plus. SAP experience preferred. Familiarity with retail POS systems is a plus. Knowledge of basic accounting principles and experience with preparing and booking journal entries. Proven reconciliation experience preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr fourthFLOOR
