Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Location: Sacramento, CA
Setting: Operating Room (OR)
Term: 1 month, with the possibility of extension
Pay Rate: $230/hr
Shift Schedule: Multiple shift options are available: Mon-Fri 7am-5pm, 7am-7pm, 9am-7pm, 11am-9pm, 1pm-11pm. Weekend coverage as needed. No Call.

Job Overview:
A leading hospital in Sacramento, CA, is seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to join their team. You will be responsible for covering General, B&B, Orthopedic, and Neuro/Spine cases. No Cardiac or OB cases required.

Qualifications:

• Active California CRNA License
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• DEA license
• Board Certification
• Proficiency in EPIC

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments
• Educate patients and families on the anesthesia process and post-operative recovery
• Administer anesthesia via various methods (injection, inhalation, oral)
• Monitor patient vitals and adjust anesthesia levels as needed during procedures
• Ensure patient safety during recovery from anesthesia
• Maintain and calibrate anesthesia equipment
• Accurately document patient care in medical records
• Stay updated on the latest anesthesia practices and procedures
