Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with matching, PTO, paid holidays, disability and life insurance Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld Uniform provided at no cost Responsibilities Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property Walking patrol inside and outside of the Coastal Emergency Room (ER) and parking lot. Patrolling entire property to ensure vehicle break‑in and thefts are prevented, control or de‑escalate any patients who become unruly. Respond to emergency calls, control scene for Police, Fire and EMS. Checking property for damage, lights out and potential threats. Assist ER staff when necessary. Walking long distances around buildings. Ability to use a smartphone for Daily Activities Report and scan tour tags. De‑escalate situations and call SAPD when situation warrants. Qualifications Be authorized to work in the U.S. Provide documentation of a High School Diploma or GED. Pass an extensive screening process. Strong report‑writing skills. Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills. Strong proficiency with technology. Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience – even better. Have a state license if required.
