We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team on a part-time basis . If you are passionate about helping residents improve their communication, swallowing, and overall quality of life, we would love to hear from you!

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will evaluate residents, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and help residents achieve their communication and swallowing goals.

Responsibilities include:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.

• Develop and provide individualized treatment plans based on residents’ needs and established plans of care.

• Monitor residents’ progress and adjust treatment approaches as appropriate.

• Educate residents, families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals on communication and swallowing needs.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with applicable requirements.

• Collaborate with nursing staff, rehabilitation team members, and other professionals to support quality resident care.

• Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

• Current, appropriate state licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for SLP services in a long-term care setting, or a willingness to learn.

• A positive attitude, creativity, and enthusiasm for helping residents reach their goals.
