Position Description:

Penn Medicine Princeton Health is excited to be seeking a Full-Time Gastroenterologist to join their well-established and busy GI practice. The group is part of the Princeton Center for Digestive Health, which offers comprehensive gastrointestinal healthcare services including advanced diagnostics, endoscopic therapies and advanced minimally invasive endoscopic procedures. The practice is proud to promote a patient-centric culture, comprehensive approach to individualized patient care, and a positive work environment for the physicians and staff.

The practice currently includes nine physicians who practice general gastroenterology care, with each physician also specializing in a distinct area of interest within the field. Two physicians perform advanced endoscopic procedures. The physicians collaborate closely with a team of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) who support patient care across both inpatient and outpatient settings.

The open position will be a mix of inpatient and outpatient work, and all physicians are included in a large coverage pool that offers a provider-friendly call schedule. In addition, the gastroenterologists have the option to work with internal medicine residents and medical students, and apply for an academic appointment at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

The main ambulatory practice location will be on Princeton Health's medical campus in Plainsboro, NJ, with the option to spend a couple of sessions at another local community practice each week based on geography. Endoscopies are performed at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center, a beautiful 231-bed state of the art hospital that is connected to the ambulatory practices. Penn Medicine Princeton Medical is equipped with state of the art endoscopy suites, which include 190 Olympus scopes.

As a Penn Medicine Physician, you will be connected with the greater Penn Medicine Division of Gastroenterology and have access to virtual grand rounds and meetings, easy in-system referrals, and networking opportunities with colleagues.

Position Requirements:

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency and GI fellowship program

• Board Certification/Eligibility in Gastroenterology

• Active New Jersey medical license, CDS, and DEA, or eligibility to obtain

Salary Range:

$15,080.00 - $520,000.00/Annually based on 40 hours per week
