Job Title: Quality Control (QC) Laboratory Technician

Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Laboratory Technician to serve as a key technical resource within our production facility. You will be responsible for the evaluation of raw ingredients and finished goods, ensuring every batch meets our stringent quality specifications. Beyond the bench, you will be an active participant in our quality culture-auditing floor procedures, coaching frontline team members, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Quality Control & Analysis
• Technical Evaluation: Perform precise analytical testing on ingredients and finished products. Ensure all results are documented accurately and aligned with established product specifications.
• Audit & Compliance: Conduct regular quality audits of production processes. Provide constructive, real-time feedback to frontline staff to ensure all work instructions are followed and quality checks are performed correctly.
• Documentation & Procedures: Author, organize, and update laboratory procedures. Assist in maintaining comprehensive quality records to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry-specific regulatory standards.

Continuous Improvement & Leadership
• Root Cause Analysis: Champion formalized problem-solving methodologies. Lead investigations into quality issues and collaborate with production teams to drive sustainable process improvements.
• Operational Excellence: Provide input on lab efficiency, ergonomics, and safety. Identify "gaps" in the production process and partner with manufacturing teams to implement corrective actions.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Serve as a professional point of contact for internal teams and external vendors. Act as a technical expert who bridges the gap between the lab bench and the production line.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related technical/scientific discipline.
• Experience Baseline: Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a Lab, QC, or related technical manufacturing environment.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift/move objects up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Excellent communication skills-you must be comfortable coaching production personnel and communicating technical findings to management.
• Strong planning and organizational skills; the ability to balance multiple analytical tasks during a single shift.
• A proactive mindset; someone who thrives when tasked with identifying "process inefficiencies" rather than just performing routine testing.
