Physician - Orthopedics and Sports Medicine

Overview MaineHealth Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is currently seeking a BC/BE physician to join their busy and dynamic group in a hospital‑employed practice located in Farmington, Maine. The successful candidate will provide a mix of general orthopedic outpatient, inpatient, and surgical care while also having the opportunity to develop their practice within a subspecialty interest. The candidate will join a team of highly skilled orthopedic surgeons, podiatrists, and APP providers in our Orthopedics program. A diverse physical rehabilitation department supports the Orthopedics program, and there is collaboration with the orthopedic surgery service line throughout MaineHealth. Minimum Qualifications MD/DO from an accredited medical school. Active and unrestricted State of Maine medical license, or ability to obtain one prior to employment. Board Certified or Board Eligible. This Position Offers Team‑based care model with collaborative approach to care.
