Overview Registered Nurse – OR Circulator, travel assignment available in Newport, Vermont, United States. Start date: 06/29/2026 for a 13-week contract with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Responsibilities

• Serve as the OR circulator, coordinating patient care in preoperative and postoperative phases and ensuring patient advocacy throughout the surgical process
• Prepare the operating room, ensure equipment sterility and readiness, and assist the surgical team as needed
• Monitor patient status, document accurately, and communicate changes to the multidisciplinary team
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and nursing staff to maintain safety and efficiency during procedures
• Participate in on-call coverage as required by the assignment and contribute to quarterly department education sessions

Requirements

• Active RN license in good standing (state-specific requirements apply)
• OR circulating experience or strong perioperative nursing background preferred
• Ability to work day shift with on-call responsibilities
• Eligibility for travel assignments and willingness to relocate for the duration of the contract
• Commitment to patient advocacy and safety in a fast-paced operating room environment
• Attendance at department quarterly education sessions as part of agency requirements
