Full-Time Center Associate

The UPS Store Centerville is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Center Associate to provide exceptional customer service to retail clients by efficiently receiving and processing packages for courier shipment. This role also involves operating various office equipment, including copiers, fax machines, binding and laminating devices, as well as point-of-sale systems. The Associate will confidently guide customers by offering accurate information about our extensive range of products and services, ensuring they receive the best-value options. A strong understanding of industry best practices is essential to excel in this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to both walk-in clients and telephone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
• Practice active listening to fully understand customers’ needs, collaborating effectively with UPS Store team members and management.
• Take ownership of customers’ shipping requirements by recommending appropriate and practical solutions.
• Commit to ongoing learning about all product and service offerings, including alternative options and current industry trends.
• Operate all office equipment, software, and devices with expertise and assist in training others when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and the business.
• Must be able to work weekends.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Strong computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites.
• Excellent telephone communication skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication capabilities, including accurate spelling and basic math skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and responsible work ethic.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds or more.
