The University of Cincinnati Cancer Center (UCCC) isdedicated to reducing the burden of cancer through groundbreakingscience, innovative clinical research, workforce development andmeaningful community engagement throughout the region andbeyond. A full time Marketing & Events Project Coordinatorposition is available in UCCC. This position will implementprojects, programs, and operational activities that support UCCC’smarketing, communications, event, and stakeholder engagementobjectives. This position assists with project implementation,social media operations, event planning and logistics,communications support, and stakeholder engagement activities thatadvance Cancer Center priorities. Salary range: $47,800-$53,182. Final pay rate will bedetermined based on candidate qualifications andexperience. Essential Functions Develop and manage marketing, communications, event, andstakeholder engagement projects/programs; establish and carry outrelated goals and objectives that support Cancer Centerpriorities. Coordinate operational activities associated withmarketing initiatives, communications programs, meetings, seminarsand special events. Manage project timelines, deliverables,schedules, registrations and related administrativeprocesses. Monitor and evaluate progress of projects/programs;prepare reports, meeting materials, agendas, minutes, and otherdocumentation to support project and programobjectives. Develop, edit, publish and distribute promotionalmaterials across digital, web, email and social media channels;support content scheduling, monitoring and performancereporting. Coordinate logistics for meetings, seminars, and specialevents, including registration management, attendee communications,speaker support, venue coordination and event materials;independently manage assigned events and provide support for largerinitiatives. Liaise with appropriate stakeholders to coordinateevent-related financial and administrative processes, includingcontracts, purchasing, travel arrangements, vendor onboarding,invoice processing, reimbursements and budget trackingactivities. Perform related duties based on departmental need. Thisjob description can be changed at any time. Required Education Bachelor's Degree. Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or otherspecialized training can be used in lieu of educationrequirement. Required Experience One (1) year of experience in coordinating projectsand/or programs. Additional Qualifications Considered Experience with coordinating events ormarketing/communications activities. Experience in higher education, academic medicine, orother large, matrixed organizations. Proficiency in planning and executing in-person, virtual,and hybrid events, including registration management, speakercoordination, venue management, and vendor relations. Familiarity with managing organizational social mediachannels, including LinkedIn, X, Facebook or YouTube. Basic graphic design experience using Canva, Affinity,Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software. Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM)platforms (HubSpot or equivalent) and content managementsystems. Physical Requirements/Work Environment Office environment/no specific unusual physical orenvironmental demands.
