Faculty Physician - Dermatology

Job Summary The Faculty Physician provides quality medical care to patients in a clinical setting and assists management in developing policies and procedures relating to patient needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide quality treatment to all patients in a professional manner. Participate in the teaching/training program(s). Communicate with administrators and physicians to facilitate practice operations. Participate in team effort to guarantee efficient services to patients. Conform to the ethical code of conduct, Wayne Health Corporate Compliance Program, and all standards of the Code of Conduct, Code of Ethics, and clinic policies and procedures. Maintain a current professional license and professional liability insurance at limits required by Wayne Health Credentialing. Attend meetings and training as requested, including mandatory annual Wayne Health training in such areas as: patient rights, confidentiality, corporate compliance, prevention of violence, management of unsafe behaviors, and cultural competence. Participate in professional development activities and keep current with healthcare trends and practices. Obey confidentiality as required by all federal, state, regulatory, and Wayne Health policies. Perform related duties as assigned. Education, Licensure and Training Licensed M.D. or D.O., board eligible or certified in Dermatology. Skills and Abilities High level of interpersonal skills, written and verbal. Excellent analytical ability to identify and resolve complex problems. Clinical knowledge to meet medical requirements for various procedures. Ability to maintain confidentiality of patients, personnel and financial data. Excellent organizational skills to work independently, prioritize, handle multiple tasks, and manage time. Patient management skills necessary to provide quality care. Safety Requirements Compliance with Department Health and Safety policies and procedures. Working Conditions / Schedule Work week, hours and days to be determined by the business need of the department. Additional hours may be required.
