Job Description
Job DescriptionWe are currently hiring three full-time Diesel Mechanics to join our team—two positions for roadside mechanics supporting the DFW area and one for our shop based in Seagoville. These roles require experienced, bilingual professionals skilled in servicing heavy trucks through diagnostic testing, preventive maintenance, and efficient repairs. Compensation is based on experience, reflecting the critical nature of these roles in maintaining vehicle readiness and safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform field repairs and maintenance for heavy trucks in the DFW area (roadside roles)
- Conduct shop maintenance and diagnostic testing for vehicles (shop role)
- Carry out preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and services
- Conduct safety inspections to ensure compliance
- Replace parts as needed to maintain vehicle functionality
- Work regular daytime shifts with availability for on-call/emergency support (roadside)
- Operate independently as a single mechanic at each location
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in diesel mechanics
- Expertise in diesel engine repair and preventive maintenance
- Proficient with diagnostic tools and mechanical troubleshooting
- Bilingual communication skills for customer interaction
- Strong customer service orientation
- Knowledge of safety compliance standards
