Sr. Database Administrator

Job Title: Sr. Database Administrator Location: Austin, TX, (Hybrid)- 3 days remote with 2 days (Mon & Fri) required to be onsite Position Type: Contract Interview Mode: In-person Roles & Responsibilities Administer and maintain Oracle and Microsoft SQL databases supporting enterprise applications. Perform database tuning, indexing, and performance optimization to ensure high availability. Migrate data from Oracle databases to Azure SQL and support data conversion activities. Convert Oracle Stored Procedures, Functions, and database objects to Azure SQL. Design, maintain, and optimize logical and physical data models. Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement performance improvements. Execute database installations, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting activities. Manage database security, user access, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes. Implement data replication, archiving, and database maintenance policies. Support high availability, clustering, and load balancing configurations. Collaborate with development teams in an Agile (Scrum) environment to support application development and deployment. Ensure database integrity, availability, and reliability across production and non-production environments. II.
