Under the supervision of the Financial Administrative Officer, the analyst will conduct analysis and support of financial operations on a monthly and yearly basis. Responsibilities include pro‑card transfers, ledger reconciliation for assigned funds, monitoring encumbrance reports, data updates, and general accounting and payroll tasks. The analyst will assist in maintaining fiscal integrity of funds and accounts to ensure that funds are in an auditable, reportable condition and will collaborate with faculty, researchers, staff, and students. Key Responsibilities Provide financial and analytical support for the Department of Physics and Astronomy. Conduct analysis and support of financial operations on a monthly and yearly basis. Perform pro‑card transfers and ledger reconciliation for assigned funds. Monitor encumbrance reports and update financial data. Execute general accounting and payroll tasks. Assist in maintaining fiscal integrity of funds and accounts to ensure auditable and reportable condition. Collaborate with faculty, researchers, staff, and students as part of the administrative team. Qualifications Current work authorization required at the time of employment. Unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. Education, licensure, certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs will be considered in salary determination. Ability to comply with all applicable University policies and collective bargaining agreements. Knowledge of financial operations, ledger reconciliation, and payroll processes desirable.
