Quality Specialist

Our client, a leading global manufacturer , is seeking a Quality Specialist to support manufacturing excellence by developing and improving production processes, documentation, and quality systems. This role works closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality to ensure accurate work instructions, effective implementation of engineering changes, and continuous process improvement in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and improve manufacturing work instructions and process documentation. Create visual assembly aids based on engineering drawings and CAD files. Support Engineering and Production with troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Conduct layered process audits and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards. Manage engineering change implementation (APQP) and documentation control. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, productivity, and standard work. Support new product introductions by developing efficient manufacturing processes. Assist with audit readiness and corrective action activities within the Quality Management System. Qualifications 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering support, or process improvement. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred. Experience creating work instructions and process documentation. Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems. Ability to read engineering drawings and bills of materials (BOMs). Strong problem‑solving, root cause analysis, and organizational skills. Experience with Lean, 5S, standard work, or continuous improvement methodologies preferred. Basic CAD knowledge or the ability to interpret engineering drawings preferred. Why Opportunity to make a direct impact on manufacturing quality and process improvements.
