Work Environment\n

This role allows for the flexibility of working remotely, but requires regular communication and collaboration with school staff, parents, and students. You might conduct virtual sessions from your home office, but engagement with the school staff will be essential for a well-coordinated approach to mental health care. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, working collaboratively to create individualized support plans for students.

  • Conduct in-depth assessments to understand the mental health needs of students, families, and groups.

  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address specific psychological and emotional issues.

  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, focusing on evidence-based interventions.

  • Monitor and evaluate client progress through regular check-ins and therapeutic reviews to ensure they are meeting their treatment goals.

  • Provide crisis intervention services, utilizing therapeutic techniques to help clients navigate high-stress or emergent situations.

  • Collaborate with educators and other healthcare professionals to create a supportive and inclusive environment for mental health care.

  • Maintain accurate and timely records of client interactions using our secure electronic health record system.

  • Stay informed about the latest trends in mental health, educational practices, and therapeutic approaches through continuing education and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary clientele for this role includes school-aged children and adolescents dealing with a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges. You will work closely with students who are facing significant life transitions, such as familial changes or academic pressures. Your work will directly contribute to their overall well-being and success in school.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

  • A valid LCSW license issued by the state of Arizona.
  • \n
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with clients and collaborate with educational staff.

  • A strong capacity for independent work as well as a collaborative approach to working in a team-focused environment.

  • Adept at managing confidential client information with the highest level of sensitivity.

Preferred Experience\n
