This role offers an opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment, with a focus on cardiac monitoring and patient education.Key Responsibilities:Manage a patient assignment of 4–6 telemetry patients, utilizing cardiac monitoring to detect and respond to rhythm changes promptly. Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments while closely monitoring for adverse reactions. Document assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the electronic health record. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams—including case management, social work, and therapy—to coordinate safe and timely discharge planning. Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, medications, dietary restrictions, and follow-up care to promote understanding and reduce readmission risk. Qualifications:Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical or telemetry nursing experience. Valid Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred. Medical-Surgical Certified Registered Nurse (CMSRN) certification is a plus.
