Job Description

We are currently seeking a Soils Technician to join our team! Immediate opening available. Minimum of 1 year of experience as soils technician required . Experience in testing and observing placement of compacted fill (sand cone, nuclear gauge), grading, preparation of field reports, plotting density test results. Salary commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

Observing the placement of compacted soils and rock fill
Testing of compacted fill using sand cone and/or nuclear density gauge
Ability to work on projects throughout southern California with focus in San Diego County
Ability to compile test results, read plans, and write field reports

Qualifications:

Ability to lift and carry heavy samples and equipment over rough terrain
Driver's license and clean driving record
