About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President, Controller/Finance to join its leadership team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in scaling the finance function, with a focus on strengthening reporting, improving processes, and driving data-informed decision-making across operations. This role requires a balance of hands-on accounting leadership and strategic insight, and the VP will be a key partner to the CFO and executive team. Key responsibilities include leading and developing the accounting and finance team, owning the full close process, overseeing cost accounting and inventory, and supporting budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting. The VP will also be tasked with monitoring cash flow, enhancing reporting, strengthening internal controls, and optimizing processes. Candidates for the VP, Controller/Finance position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' progressive accounting/finance experience, with a preference for those with a background in manufacturing. Strong cost accounting, inventory, and multi-site experience are essential, and experience in high-growth or private equity environments is a plus. The role requires a CPA, a Bachelor's in accounting or finance (Master's a plus), advanced Excel, and ERP experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to partner with operations, translate data into actionable insights, and be adept at identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing best practices. The VP will also be involved in M&A integration, and audit, tax, and lender reporting requirements, and must be committed to driving a strong focus on liquidity and financial discipline.
