Director, Services Sourcing

Director, Professional Services Category Management Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. We are looking for a Director, Professional Services Category Management to oversee professional services spend, build 360‑degree relationships, and influence operational success without direct reports. Strategic Partnership and Business Alignment You will foster strategic partnerships internally and externally, align initiatives with business objectives, and drive value by leveraging external expertise while maintaining internal capabilities. Interaction & Influence You will interact with peers, senior business partners such as VPs and SVPs, and external vendors, customers, and consultants to influence decisions and commitments within your area. What You'll Actually Be Doing Manage services sourcing categories across a portfolio, develop and implement category strategies, and apply a maturity standpoint to assess effectiveness across several focus areas: Process Maturity: Streamline and optimize sourcing, contracting, and vendor management processes. Technology Enablement: Leverage tools and systems to enhance efficiency and insights. Talent & Expertise: Identify and cultivate internal and external capabilities to manage each category. Relationships: Practice 360‑degree relationship management with internal partners, suppliers, and external experts. You're Our Person If… Proven experience in category management, strategic sourcing, or procurement focusing on professional services. Demonstrated ability to influence and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across an organization. Experience developing and implementing category strategies for complex services. Strong understanding of supplier relationship management and contract negotiation. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience; Master’s degree is a plus.
