A dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist is sought for a full-time maternity leave assignment from August 24th through November 16th. Those holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates, as well as Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) with school experience, are encouraged to apply.

Your expertise will help students build essential communication skills while you collaborate with educators and families in a supportive environment. This setting values both your clinical knowledge and your ability to connect with children from diverse backgrounds.

Key Qualifications:

• Active state licensure as SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA
• Previous experience in school settings preferred
• Familiarity with IEP documentation and progress tracking
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to adapt therapy approaches to individual student needs
• Confidence collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to students across grade levels
• Conduct speech and language assessments and interpret results
• Develop, implement, and manage IEPs in partnership with teachers and families
• Maintain detailed and timely session notes and progress reports
• Support classroom staff in understanding and implementing communication strategies
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to student support plans
