Position Title: Maintenance Technician

Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor

SUMMARY

Assist in tasks to keep packing shed, and equipment operating at maximum efficiency.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Repair and maintain

1. Production Equipment

1. Limited Building Maintenance

• Complete checklists and maintenance logs
• Be able to work without supervision, while being part of a team
• Be able to identify and/or correct safety issues
• Assist with installation and setup of new equipment
• Understand machine operation:
  • Identify machine inefficiencies and report or repair them
  • Visually inspect equipment for wear and suggest solutions
  • Communicate with Production staff to determine optimum time to make repairs
• Respond to repair calls from all departments in a timely manner
