Position Title: Maintenance Technician
Department: Maintenance
Safety Sensitive Role : Yes
Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor
SUMMARY
Assist in tasks to keep packing shed, and equipment operating at maximum efficiency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Repair and maintain
- Production Equipment
- Limited Building Maintenance
- Complete checklists and maintenance logs
- Be able to work without supervision, while being part of a team
- Be able to identify and/or correct safety issues
- Assist with installation and setup of new equipment
- Understand machine operation:
- Identify machine inefficiencies and report or repair them
- Visually inspect equipment for wear and suggest solutions
- Communicate with Production staff to determine optimum time to make repairs
- Respond to repair calls from all departments in a timely manner
