Role Description This full-time, on-site Inventory Control/Sales Assistant role is based in Deer Park, NY. In the fast paced enviornment the position involves managing inventory levels, tracking incoming and outgoing stock, and ensuring accurate data entry in inventory and sales systems. The role includes supporting the sales team by preparing quotes, processing orders, responding to customer inquiries, and following up on open items. The Inventory Control/Sales Assistant will coordinate with warehouse and operations staff to resolve discrepancies, maintain organized records, and assist with regular inventory audits. The individual will also help prepare basic sales reports and provide administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities to interact effectively with clients and internal teams. Candidates should possess clear Communication skills to manage inquiries, share updates, and document information accurately. Candidates should possess Sales support experience, including handling orders, preparing quotes, and assisting with customer follow-ups. Candidates should possess solid Organization Skills to manage inventory records, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate documentation. Basic proficiency with inventory or ERP systems and standard office software (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing) is beneficial. Previous experience in the electronic component industry is required. Inventory control, inside sales, or administrative support in a manufacturing or distribution environment is a plus.
