Assembly Technician – 2nd Shift

Assembly Technician – 2nd Shift - Fenton, MO 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday | 2:15 PM – 12:45 AM Overtime Available (including Saturdays as needed)

Are you mechanically inclined with an electrical wiring background? We're looking for dependable, detail-oriented individuals to join our manufacturing team as an Assembly Technician.

Schedule

Training: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Regular Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 2:15 PM – 12:45 AM (10-hour shifts)

Overtime: Saturdays, 2:15 PM – 12:45 AM, as required

Responsibilities

• Obtain and review work orders, bill of materials, routing sheets, and assembly instructions.
• Assemble products according to specifications and drawings.
• Inspect parts and components throughout the assembly process.
• Perform quality checks, including flange inspections using a .0015" feeler gauge.
• Identify and report defects such as porosity, damaged threads, paint issues, or missing features.
• Lubricate designated threaded areas as required.
• Remove and segregate nonconforming materials.
• Communicate production, tooling, equipment, or quality issues to leadership.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Return tools, equipment, and drawings to designated locations.
• Utilize downtime productively by restocking materials and preparing for upcoming work orders.

Qualifications

Electrical wiring experience or background required Ability to read and follow work instructions, routing sheets, and assembly drawings Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to lift up to 35 pounds continuously throughout the shift Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
