- Evaluate patients' speech, language, voice, and fluency functions through comprehensive assessments.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address identified communication and swallowing disorders.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy techniques accordingly to promote improvement.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and strategies to enhance communication skills.
- Comply with all relevant regulations, policies, and safety protocols to ensure privacy and optimal care delivery.
- Supervise and mentor assistants and aides, providing clinical guidance and support for students in training.
- Hold a valid SLP license to practice within the state.
- Maintain current BLS certification.
- Possess a current driver's license and auto insurance.
- Preferably have experience in home health settings.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, assessment, and patient engagement skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and support staff.
