What You’ll Do
  • Conduct comprehensive resident assessments and respond to changes in health status
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
  • Administer medications and monitor for side effects or adverse reactions
  • Supervise and delegate duties to LPNs, CNAs, and staff
  • Communicate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Document care accurately and in compliance with all regulations
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and medical situations
  • Participate in quality assurance and compliance initiatives
  • Educate residents and families on care plans and treatments
  • Ensure adherence to infection control, safety, and HIPAA standards
  • Serve as a role model for professionalism and compassionate care
Qualifications
  • Active RN license in the state of employment
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • At least 1 year of nursing experience (long-term care preferred)
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems
