Job Title: Senior Data Engineer

Location: Schaumburg, IL

Work Mode: Hybrid 3 days/week onsite

Duration: Long Term Contract

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong software engineering and cloud experience, preferably in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building data solutions using Python and working with cloud-based data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data processing solutions.
Develop data engineering applications using Python.
Build and support data solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
Work with cloud services, APIs, databases, and data processing technologies.
Apply strong software engineering practices including coding, testing, debugging, and CI/CD.
Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and business teams.
Troubleshoot performance and data quality issues.

Must-Have Skills

Strong Python development experience.
Strong Data Engineering experience.
Good Software Engineering background.
Hands-on Cloud experience.
Google Cloud Platform experience preferred.
Experience building and supporting data pipelines.
Strong SQL and database knowledge.
Experience with Git and CI/CD.
