CNC Operator Machinist

Job Description Job Description Structural fabrication shop is searching for a dependable and experienced CNC Operator to join the team. The ideal candidate will have experience CNC lathe machining, aluminum materials, and able to read industrial blueprints accurately. Candidates must be available to cross-train to different machinery. Responsibilities: * Set up and operate CNC machinery to produce quality parts. * Read and interpret industrial blueprints and technical drawings to assure all projects are completed accurately * Verify dimensions, tolerances, and material specifications before beginning production. * Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures. * Identify and report equipment malfunctions, tooling wear, material defects, or production issues to supervisors. * Maintain a clean and safe work area * Follow all shop safety procedures and production requirements Qualifications: * 2 years CNC lathe operating experience required * Experience working with aluminum, steel, or similar metal materials * Ability to read and understand industrial blueprints * Strong attention to detail and quality control * Ability to work in a fast-paced fabrication shop environment Monday to Friday $20.00 hourly 6am to 3pm (Overtime is expected during busy seasons) Benefits are applicable after probation period is completed.
