On-Camera Jewelry Model / Presenter + Showroom Assistant (Base Salary + Commission)

Job Description

\n
• I’m hiring someone to join my team at Spectra Fine Jewelry in the Diamond District.
\n
• This is a full-time role for someone polished, sharp, reliable, and comfortable around high-end jewelry and private clients. The job is a mix of showroom sales, client follow-up, inventory, admin/computer work, and on-camera jewelry modeling/content.
\n
• This is not only a social media job. The right person needs to be able to learn the product, understand inventory, help with clients, assist with DMs/texts/emails, and grow into the sales side of the business.
\n
• A large part of the role will involve being on camera and helping present jewelry for Instagram, TikTok, Reels, Stories, client videos, and other content. You should be comfortable as an on-camera jewelry model/presenter and able to model pieces well: rings, bracelets, watches, necklaces, and other fine jewelry.
\n
• We sell expensive jewelry, so there is real upside here. This is base salary + commission, and for someone talented, motivated, and good with clients, commissions can become a very meaningful part of compensation.
\n
• What the job includes:
\n
• * Showroom jewelry sales and working with clientele
\n
• * Responding to client DMs, texts, emails, and follow-ups
\n
• * Helping turn social media interest into actual sales
\n
• * Learning our inventory and helping keep it organized
\n
• * Basic computer/admin work: notes, descriptions, spreadsheets, emails, and simple systems
\n
• * Assisting with product photos, videos, Reels, Stories, and TikTok-style content
\n
• * Being on camera as a jewelry model/presenter
\n
• * Modeling jewelry close-up: hands, wrist, neck/neckline
\n
• * Helping at trade shows and business events when needed
\n
• * Occasional business travel for trade shows, client meetings, sourcing, and company needs
\n
• * Jumping in wherever needed day to day
\n
• Who I’m looking for
\n
• * Polished, camera-ready presentation
\n
• * Strong personal style and good taste
\n
• * Comfortable showing your face on camera
\n
• * Comfortable modeling jewelry up close, especially rings, bracelets, watches, and necklaces
\n
• * Well-groomed hands and a clean, elegant presentation for close-up jewelry content
\n
• * Smart, organized, and able to learn quickly
\n
• * Comfortable with basic computer work
\n
• * Reliable, discreet, and professional
\n
• * Interested in sales and motivated by commission upside
\n
• * Flexible and willing to help with different parts of the business
\n
• * Able to travel occasionally for business when needed
\n

\n
• Foreign languages are a plus, but not required.
\n
• Requirements:
\n
• * Full-time
\n
• * In-person in NYC
\n
• * 5 days per week
\n
• * Comfortable being filmed regularly
\n
• * Comfortable working with clients and high-value jewelry
\n
• * Basic computer skills
\n
• * Willing to learn inventory, product knowledge, sales, and client follow-up
