Facilitate MTSS team meetings and data discussions. Monitor student academic, behavioral, attendance, and social-emotional data. Ensure interventions are implemented with fidelity. Collaborate with teachers, interventionists, counselors, administrators, and EC staff. Maintain documentation and progress-monitoring records. Knowledge Areas Understanding of the MTSS framework (Tier I, Tier II, and Tier III supports). Data analysis and interpretation. Progress monitoring tools and assessments. Evidence-based academic and behavioral interventions. Problem-solving process for identifying student needs. Special Education referral procedures and legal requirements. NC MTSS implementation guidelines (if applicable). Leadership Skills Ability to facilitate productive meetings. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Coaching teachers on intervention strategies. Building consensus and supporting school-wide implementation. Organizing timelines, documentation, and follow-up actions. Data Responsibilities Review universal screening data. Identify students needing additional support. Monitor intervention effectiveness. Track student growth and outcomes.
