Part-Time Laboratory Technician I

Eurofins seeks a part-time laboratory technician to perform sample registration, testing, and data entry while maintaining compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards. The role involves analyzing incoming samples, recording results, and supporting quality control processes in a diagnostic laboratory setting.

Responsibilities

• Register incoming samples and maintain accurate, organized records of daily work performed
• Enter sample data into Eurofins eLIMS system accurately and in a timely manner
• Complete laboratory testing on samples efficiently and ensure turnaround time goals are met
• Verify results and submit to appropriate personnel; identify non-conformances and out-of-specification results
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and comply with health, safety, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; AS or BS degree in microbiology, chemistry, biology, or related field preferred
• Experience with plating, plate reading, and sample preparation
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent written and oral communication with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, learn quickly, and handle multiple tasks
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
