Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | 4x10-hour shifts with variable schedule and shared on-call rotation | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the Outpatient Services area, including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and Pre-operative Clinic
• Float across the full Outpatient Services department based on unit needs
• Perform nursing assessments and deliver peri-operative education and care
• Recognize and respond to post-anesthesia and post-operative complications
• Assist with conscious sedation for special procedures as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Strong GI/Endoscopy clinical skills
• Experience in PACU or peri-operative nursing care
• Ability to participate in a shared on-call rotation
• Ability to float across multiple outpatient service areas

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Day Surgery or Pre-operative Clinic settings
• Familiarity with conscious sedation procedures
• Experience in a SSSU (Short Stay Surgical Unit) environment
