The Short Scoop: My client, a specialized building products manufacturer serving commercial and residential construction, is looking for a self-directed specification sales professional to grow their presence across the western U.S. and Canada. This is a chance to shape how architects, designers, and engineers specify high-performance products from the earliest stages of design through to a completed project. Location: Remote | Status: Full-time | Compensation range: $100,000 - $120,000

Location preference for this role: San Francisco Bay Area or Southern California with easy access to a major metropolitan airport

What You'll Be Doing

• Build a qualified pipeline of specification opportunities with architects, designers, developers, and engineers
• Deliver CEU presentations and technical consultations that position products as the preferred specified solution
• Track specified projects through key milestones and help defend against substitution risk
• Cultivate long-term relationships with decision-makers at target design and development firms
• Partner with the regional sales team and rep agencies to help convert specifications into revenue environments, including multifamily, residential, hospitality, single-family, student housing, and commercial applications.

About You

• Be able to do the job as described
• Background working with trades or technical building products – plumbing products preferred.
• Comfortable working independently in a field-based or remote role with limited day-to-day supervision
• Pipeline Management and relationship building is something you thrive on, making sure communication happens!
• Experience delivering technical presentations or CEU - style training to design professionals. It is not just something you do – it's your THING!
• Participate with industry organizations such as NEWH, IDS, AIA, ASI and NExtGEN/NGN to expand relationships.
• Based in the U.S. and eligible to work without visa sponsorship
