(USA) Area Manager, Maintenance

Position Summary This role focuses on implementing the business plan for a designated area, managing staffing and scheduling, coordinating workloads to achieve facility goals, supervising and developing associates and leaders, managing facility inspections and preventive maintenance, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and building high-performing, inclusive teams. Key Responsibilities Communicate goals, manage staffing and scheduling, assign duties, and coordinate workloads to achieve facility objectives. Supervise and develop associates and leaders, monitor performance, provide feedback, and conduct hiring, promotion, coaching, and evaluation. Manage facility inspection planning, preventive maintenance, and HVAC, refrigeration, and emergency systems; coordinate contracts with service contractors. Ensure quality and safety compliance, provide training on logistics and company policies, and enforce procedural standards. Guide facility maintenance and repairs, conduct inspections, resolve vendor issues, create punch lists, and follow up corrective actions. Apply expertise to action plan development and provide expert advice to align efforts with business and customer needs. Implement business solutions through stakeholder partnerships, identify business needs, drive improvements, and adapt to change. Model compliance with company policies, promote integrity, and support Walmart’s regenerative goals and sustainable practices. Communicate with impact, energy, and positivity, foster a culture of belonging, and promote diversity and inclusion. Attract, retain, and develop talent, recognize contributions, hold accountability, and support organizational culture. Minimum Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field and one year’s experience in logistics or supply chain management. Or, two years’ experience in logistics or supply chain management. Preferred Qualifications Supervising Associates Bachelor's Degree in Business. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources.
