Job Description:
The LPN position is in an outpatient clinic requiring recent oncology experience, with a focus on medical oncology, chemotherapy infusion, and hematology for patients aged 18 and older.
Responsibilities:
- Rooming patients, collecting vital signs, and reviewing medications and systems.
- Assisting in obtaining orders and processing patients for infusions.
- Conducting chart checks, procedure setup, and reviewing referrals.
- Providing first assist and chaperone support for in-clinic exams and procedures.
Requirements:
- LPN: BLS certification.
- Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing.
- Minimum 1.5 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in current oncology practice.
- Experience with EPIC Ambulatory and clinic procedures.
