Field Operations Technician

Field Operations Technician Ledcor Technical Services has been building and servicing communication networks for customers across North America since 1979. Essential Responsibilities Deliver a high‑quality, customer‑focused service experience to every client. Resolve customer issues calmly and professionally using effective de‑escalation techniques. Perform on‑site installation and repair of internet services, copper and fiber cabling, demarc extensions, and rack‑mounted networking equipment. Diagnose technical problems and implement solutions, including running new cable, replacing hardware components, and installing data circuits for internet connectivity. Follow Ledcor's safety standards and ensure proper use of vehicles, tools, and equipment at all times. Qualifications Five or more years of experience in telecommunications, business installation, and service for electronics, appliances, security, or cabling. Positive, can‑do attitude with a customer‑focused approach, dealing with challenging situations with integrity, empathy, and sincerity. Degree or diploma from a technical college preferred. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. Experience working independently in a dynamic field environment. Clear and efficient verbal and written communication skills. All applicants must be able to show proof of eligibility to work in the United States. Work Conditions Will be expected to travel with a company‑provided vehicle. Must meet the physical requirements of the position, which include sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), working at heights and in confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces, and working in all weather conditions deemed safe.
