Job Summary 2nd Shift Transportation Driver Manager – Haltom City, TX, Ryder Oversee day‑to‑day operations within the assigned function, manage direct reports, and achieve daily operational goals. Responsibilities Customer service satisfaction and expectation management Staffing performance management and development of exempt and non‑exempt employees Manage day‑to‑day planning and scheduling Health and safety management State, local, and federal regulations compliance Skills & Abilities Ability to work within international functional teams High‑level analytical ability for unusual and difficult problems Demonstrated technical and professional skills in job‑related area Off‑shift support during critical customer network disruptions or crises Timely decision making Strong oral and written communication skills Build and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization Work independently and as part of a team Fast‑paced, self‑driven, flexible environment Multi‑tasking, highly organized, excellent time management Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) Advanced knowledge of logistics industry, customer/company regulations, supply chain management, manufacturing, and production Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred At least 2 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or related field At least 1 year of direct supervisory or leadership experience Compensation Salary: $70,000 per year, paid twice per month. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. with additional hours & days as needed.
