Building Engineer

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Building Engineer to join our team on a full‑time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building maintenance, with a focus on HVAC systems, electrical systems, and plumbing. The Building Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our clients' buildings, ensuring that they are in compliance with all safety and building codes. Key Responsibilities Conduct regular inspections of buildings and identify any maintenance or repair needs Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing filters, lubricating equipment, and inspecting electrical systems Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, including boilers, chillers, and air conditioning units Maintain and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and drains Perform electrical repairs and installations, including wiring, outlets, and lighting fixtures Manage and maintain building automation systems Monitor and maintain inventory of building supplies and equipment Coordinate with contractors and vendors for major repairs and installations Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety and building codes Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of 3 years of experience in building maintenance or a related field Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and plumbing Experience with building automation systems preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills Excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Retirement savings plan Employee discounts on building maintenance services Ongoing training and development opportunities If you are a skilled and motivated Building Engineer looking for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity, we encourage you to apply today!
