Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 4x10.0. Rotating shift schedule, floating, holidays, weekends, on call/callback, and charge per unit needs.

Join our fast-paced pre/post interventional radiology department in a Level 1 Trauma center. This role caters to both inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan. As a Registered Nurse, you will work within a multidisciplinary team, responsible for the pre-procedural preparation of patients, as well as post-procedural recovery and overnight observation care.

You will thrive in an exciting environment specializing in CT scans, MRIs, Nuclear Medicine scans, X-ray, and ultrasound. Strong communication and critical thinking skills are essential for success in this role. We are looking for team-oriented, enthusiastic, flexible, and organized individuals to enhance our services.

• Pre and post-procedural care for interventional radiology patients.
• Care for patients boarding overnight before or after procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 2 years' Registered IR Nursing experience.
• Telemetry experience is required.
• New York RN license is mandatory.
• BLS (American Heart Association) certification required.
• ACLS (American Heart Association) certification required.
