This is a unique opportunity to help shape our culture, traditions, classroom environments, and educational practices from the ground up. Position: Lead Teacher Status: Full-Time (40 hours per week) Pay: $21-$24 per hour What You'll Do Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment Plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and language development Build strong, positive partnerships with families Observe and document children's growth and developmental progress Mentor and support Assistant Teachers and classroom staff Help ensure compliance with licensing regulations and center policies Serve as a positive role model for children, families, and colleagues Be current on MMR and TDAP vaccinations Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting Required Qualifications Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential Three or more years of experience working in an early childhood setting Additional Requirements Ability to pass required background checks and clearances CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain) Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills Commitment to ongoing professional development Genuine passion for working with young children and families Why Join Caring Hearts?
