With 22,000 clients, including 93% of the Fortune 100, and 32,000 employees across 28 countries, RRD brings the expertise, execution, and scale designed to transform customer touchpoints into meaningful moments of impact.Job DescriptionResponsibilities include:Remove, flex, jog, and stack printed sheets, folded signatures, labels or other in-process product from discharge unit of printing press or adhesive coating equipmentReview signatures for smearing, register issues, bad folds, etc. and notify the PressroomRemove folded signatures from web press and place signatures on pallet or skid for removal to warehouse or binding areasMay adjust stacking mechanism on press according to paper dimensions. Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, carts and traysConveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area, using hand truck, electric dolly, or other deviceCounts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheetAttaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containersStacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together, using banding machine and clincherMay use automated equipment and/or operate industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and productsMay assist Press Crew with make-ready of the equipment such as retrieving plates, hanging plates, recycling/storing plates etc.May perform in process quality checks of printed materials looking for blemishes, scratches or other print defectsAssists in inventory control of raw materials finished goods and dies.Assist Roll tender with: plate and blanket installations; gluer set up and tear down; press washup/ink changes; press lubrication; web upsMaintain general appearance of surrounding press, which includes picking up paper and waste, wiping spills, and cleaning machine according to 5S standards.Performs limited compensation procedures, cut-off, and side guide. Set up and operate sheeter.Set up and adjust stackers to fit the format.Other job duties as assignedNights - 7PM-7AM / $3.00 Shift PremiumPay Disclosure Statement: The rate of pay for this role at the noted location is $18.72 per hour. In addition to base pay, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include, overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay. RRD offers benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, disability insurance, 401(k) with match, life insurance and other voluntary supplemental insurance coverages, plus tuition assistance, maternity leave, adoption assistance, and employer/partner discounts.QualificationsQualifications include:Able to stock, move, jog, arrange, unload, count and rotate items on/off printing press equipment in accordance with operating instructions or under guidance of a press operator or supervisorMay require knowledge of operation of automatic counters and tabulate counts for jobsAble to complete appropriate forms relating to stock description, quantity, unit of issue, and the labeling requirements for incoming and outgoing materialsGood knowledge of general warehouse layout, item identification codes, basic warehouse procedures, and the storage areas in order to be able to place or pull paper stock, signatures and materials in accordance with standard proceduresGood skill in the use of manual dollies, carts or hand trucks and hand tools used in material handling tasks such as hammers, pliers, strapping and stretch wrapping tools and equipment, tape fasteners, metal band sheers and related equipmentAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
